Foundry Operator
1st Shift
Duties:
Operation of the CKO to ensure that correct manufacturing process is followed. Inspect, identify, and separate different manufacturing defects and styled parts. Report mechanical malfunctions to maintenance and/or the supervisor. Safe operation of cut off saw. Change worn blades as needed. Periodic cleaning of the wheelabrator screens as required. Maintain area in a neat and orderly fashion. Work is repetitive. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform routine housekeeping to ensure area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards.
Other duties as may be assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in manufacturing environment in lieu of diploma considered.
Basic math skills required.
Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and abide by safety rules.
Must report any job-related injury and/or illness immediately to your direct supervisor.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds alone, 80 lbs. with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
