Machine Operator
All Shifts including weekend 4th shift and part-time weekend work.

Position Overview
Responsible for setting up and operating machines to cut, shape or form metal work piece to specifications and performing all duties of Machine Operator.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews set up sheet and specifications to determine set up procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece. Works to production schedule. Provides full set-up of machine, loading programs from the directory file.
Attaches fixture to machine bed and positions and secures work piece in fixture according to set up instructions. Can improvise fixturing as necessary.
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and limited setup requirements.
Measures dimensions on workpiece.
Starts and runs machinery to produce product, detects malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
Adjusts and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
Tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.
Assembles product as needed.
Skills and Experience
Entry-Level to 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
