Material Handler – Production
2nd shift
$15/hr. to start
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Material Handler will have overall responsibility for coordinating the continuous flow of supplies, raw materials, and finished goods to the appropriate location in order to facilitate the optimum efficiency of operation as per applicable “Standard Operating Procedures”.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply production with all raw materials and components in a timely fashion.
Move and store supplies, raw materials, and finished goods throughout the facility per written procedures or directives from management.
Identify all materials stored in warehouse with part #, description, quantities, and lot numbers.
Provide support to shipping/receiving, returns, QC, and any department as may be needed.
Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly state.
Ensure the inherent safety of the warehouse facility and operations.
Operate powered industrial trucks, electric pallet jacks and pump jacks.
Drive company truck for deliveries as necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school degree or GED.
Good communication skills.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license
