Tool Repair Expeditor
Interviews customers by telephone to discuss tool repair, shipping procedures and status on tools. Technically assists customers with tool components and inputs all information into computer for customer service transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Talks with customers by phone, schedules and places tool repair orders on the computer.
Places orders and determines pricing for new replacement tools.
Maintains Tool Maintenance System files.
Responsible for material movement from the warehouse stock locations, to point of use stock locations by use of Material Transfers.
Perform periodic cycle counts to verify inventory levels in point of use stock locations.
Performs order entry for spare tool parts for customers.
Maintains and distributes sales drawings.
Assists with receiving in of customer returned tools.
Skills and Experience
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
